Mid-State Metals
started as a small family owned and operated business in July of 1997. In the early stages of the business, the founder, John Jancic, worked as a painter, for the first half his workday, in order to support his large family! He came home in the afternoons to open up the small shop, to sell metal roofing and siding to friends, neighbors, and people who heard of the business by word of mouth. His wife, and the older of his eight children, would contribute their help to the business whenever they were needed. In the years following, the business has grown from a small, "one man operation", to the Mid-State Metals you know today!
John credits his business success to Jesus Christ and His grace, as well as, answered prayers! His belief is, if you make a high-quality, fair-priced product available, coupled with a personal and down-to-earth customer relationship, failure is not an option.
Mid-State Metals has expanded it's product line and facility size to meet the needs of home owners, as well, as contractors big and small!

In 2024, Tyler had the honor of purchasing the business from John, his father-in-law, after working alongside the family for many years. He started helping out in high school, and has been working in the office since 2015. He's learned firsthand what makes Mid-State Metals special: faith, integrity, family values, and a dedication to putting customers first.
As the business continues to grow, we're committed to upholding those same principles while expanding our product offerings and keeping up with the needs of modern construction.
